The race towards wealth, health, and legacy in this country is one that has been 𝘴𝘬𝘦𝘸𝘦𝘥 from the beginning. ⁣⁣⁣In its essence, racism was (and continues to be) the means of creating advantages for some while disenfranchising others. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Slavery, Broken Treaties, Genocide, Manifest Destiny, Tail of Tears, Reconstruction Era, Segregation, Immigration Act of 1924, Japanese internment camps, 𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 [which created tons of wealth for white Americans], Underfunded Schools, War on Drugs, Disparities in Incarceration, Food Deserts, Anti-Muslim Sentiment, etc…⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
